NOTABIS Ads Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These terms govern your use of NOTABIS Ads as an advertiser, approved publisher, or account holder. They supplement the general NOTABIS Terms of Service. If a separate written publisher agreement or order applies to your use, that agreement also applies to the extent it covers the same subject.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure, and use the service only for lawful business or personal purposes. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for ensuring that you have authority to submit the ads, website details and other materials you provide.

2. Advertiser terms

  • NOTABIS Ads may review, approve, reject, pause or remove a campaign or destination. Approval is not a guarantee that an ad is lawful in every location or suitable for every audience.
  • You must own or have permission to use each creative, trademark, image, claim, landing page and destination URL you submit. Ads and destinations must comply with our Advertising Policy and applicable law.
  • Campaigns use the CPM rate shown for the campaign and are charged against available prepaid NT based on valid recorded impressions. Cumulative spend is calculated at NT precision. Delivery pauses when the campaign cannot cover another impression.
  • You are responsible for reviewing campaign settings, budgets, destination links and performance reports. Delivery depends on eligible placements, network availability, campaign competition and remaining budget.

We do not guarantee a minimum number of impressions, clicks, conversions, audience size, campaign duration or business result. Reported metrics are operational measurements and may be adjusted to address duplicate, invalid or fraudulent activity.

NT is a NOTABIS service entitlement, not cash or a transferable financial asset. Purchases, account credits and any refund rights are governed by the applicable NOTABIS account and payment terms shown when you obtain or use them, together with any rights that cannot be excluded by law. We will not charge a campaign beyond its available prepaid budget through ordinary impression billing.

3. Publisher terms

Publisher sites and placements must be approved by NOTABIS. By asking us to place or keep a site in the network, you confirm that you own or are authorized to operate it, and that its content and ad placements comply with applicable law and these terms.

  • Use the approved embed and placement only on the approved site and in the approved location. Do not alter it to fabricate, hide or multiply impressions or clicks, or interfere with the delivery, viewability or measurement systems.
  • Do not generate or buy artificial traffic, incentivize accidental clicks, click your own ads, use bots, or ask others to manipulate delivery or measurement.
  • Keep ads clearly recognizable as advertising. Do not disguise them as navigation, download controls, system messages or editorial content. Do not place them in popups, forced redirects, deceptive overlays, auto-download flows or other intrusive formats.
  • Where an external provider is used, review its behavior and privacy information. You are responsible for appropriate visitor information and consent arrangements for your site. The shared embed loads external advertising only after a visitor allows advertising. ExoClick uses that choice directly; other providers may have an additional TCF vendor permission requirement when configured. If the required visitor choice or configured signal is missing, eligible first-party contextual campaigns may still appear.

NOTABIS may suspend a site or placement if its ownership, security, traffic quality, visitor experience or compliance cannot be verified. Publisher activity earns only when a campaign is marked eligible, the site is approved, and the placement is enabled. Preview activity and invalid, duplicate or fraudulent activity do not qualify; reports may be adjusted when such activity is identified.

For each qualifying paid impression, 70% of eligible gross CPM charges is allocated to the publisher; the remaining 30% is the platform allocation, which may also fund referral rewards described below. Publisher earnings are recorded in NT to four decimal places. The share is based on qualifying paid activity, not requests or unfilled ad opportunities, and we do not guarantee a minimum number of impressions or earnings.

Available publisher balances of at least 1.00 NT may be included in a scheduled wallet settlement, rounded down to the wallet's two-decimal precision. A settlement is complete only when the shared NOTABIS wallet confirms the credit. Pending or failed wallet processing may delay a credit. Publisher earnings are NT credits, not cash, and cannot be withdrawn as cash through NOTABIS Ads.

4. Referral programme

The referral programme is one level only. A new account must register through a user's referral link to be attributed; existing accounts cannot be reassigned, and self-referrals do not qualify.

  • For an attributed publisher, the referrer reward is 10% of that publisher's qualifying publisher earnings. This reward is funded from the platform allocation and does not reduce the publisher's recorded share.
  • For an attributed advertiser, the referrer reward is 20% of that advertiser's first recorded NT purchase. Later purchases do not earn another reward under the current programme.
  • Referral rewards are NT credits paid to the referrer's shared NOTABIS wallet, not cash. A refunded or charged-back purchase is not eligible; a related reward may be reversed. Fraudulent, invalid or duplicate activity may be excluded or reversed.

5. Prohibited use

You must not use NOTABIS Ads to distribute malware, exploit visitors, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, mislead people, evade moderation, circumvent campaign or budget controls, interfere with the network, or facilitate unlawful activity. You must not use the service in a way that causes popups, automatic navigation, unwanted downloads, deceptive redirects or other behavior prohibited by the Advertising Policy.

6. Review, suspension and service changes

We may request information about a campaign, destination or publisher site and may pause, reject or remove content or access to protect users, publishers, advertisers, the network or compliance with law. We may also change or discontinue features, formats, placements or providers. Where reasonably practicable, we will explain an action through the account or support channel. You may contact us to ask for a review.

7. Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant NOTABIS a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, reproduce, resize, review and display that content as needed to provide, secure and promote the campaign or publisher service you requested. NOTABIS retains its rights in the Ads software, embed, brand and service materials. This permission ends when it is no longer needed for the service, subject to records we must retain.

8. Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Notice explains how NOTABIS Ads handles account, campaign, publisher and delivery information. External advertising providers are independent services with their own terms and privacy information. Their availability and handling of visitor information are not controlled by NOTABIS.

9. Availability, liability and legal rights

The network is provided on an as-available basis. We work to maintain reliable delivery but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, NOTABIS is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the network. Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will publish the current version here and update the date above. Continuing to use NOTABIS Ads after an update takes effect means the updated terms apply to future use, subject to any notice or consent required by law. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
