NOTABIS Ads Advertising Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy applies to ads submitted to NOTABIS Ads and to placements on approved publisher sites. It works alongside our Terms of Service.
1. Clear, honest advertising
Ads must be immediately recognizable as advertising and must not mislead people about the advertiser, product, price, availability, results or destination. Claims must be accurate, current and supported by evidence where appropriate. Do not imitate another brand, publisher interface, system alert or download control.
2. Creative and destination standards
- The landing page must work, match the ad, disclose material terms, and identify the responsible business.
- You must have the rights and permissions needed for all text, artwork, logos, trademarks, offers and destinations.
- Do not use malware, phishing, credential theft, spyware, deceptive downloads, browser notifications without permission, or code intended to exploit a visitor or publisher site.
- Do not hide the real destination, use cloaking or forced navigation, or change a destination after approval in a way that makes the ad misleading or unsafe.
- Ads and destinations must not promote unlawful products or services, fraud, hate or harassment, exploitation, or content that is unsafe or unsuitable for the publisher audience.
Regulated or age-sensitive products may be restricted or require additional review, targeting or documentation. NOTABIS may decline a category or campaign where we cannot verify legal compliance or publisher suitability.
3. Safe, non-intrusive placements
The network supports ads in the approved banner and text placements. Ads must not open popups, trigger automatic redirects, start downloads, play audio unexpectedly, cover page content with deceptive overlays, or make a click likely to happen by accident. A user-initiated click may take the user to the destination shown for that ad.
External providers are loaded only after an external ad is selected for an eligible banner placement and the required visitor consent signals are available. Provider code runs in a restricted frame and must not be modified to bypass that isolation, access publisher page content, open popups, or navigate the top-level page without the visitor choosing to follow the ad.
4. Publisher placement standards
- Use only approved sites, zones and embed code. Keep the ad visible and clearly identified as an advertisement.
- Do not place ads where controls, navigation or surrounding content could be mistaken for the ad or cause accidental clicks.
- Do not refresh, hide, stack or manipulate a placement to create impressions that visitors did not reasonably see.
- Review external provider behavior and make sure required privacy notices and consent controls are in place for your visitors.
5. Traffic integrity
Do not use bots, automated browsing, paid click farms, forced views, misleading incentives, self-clicking, or any other method intended to inflate impressions or clicks. NOTABIS may exclude suspicious activity from reporting or billing, pause a campaign, or suspend a site while we investigate.
6. Review and reporting
We may review ads and destinations before or after publication, but review does not guarantee that all issues will be detected. We may reject, pause, remove or request changes to any ad or placement that appears to violate this policy, our terms, applicable law, or a provider’s requirements. To report an ad or placement concern, contact [email protected] and include the ad or page details if available.
